EADS CEO Tom Enders Closes Door on BAE Merger

Eads logoEADS CEO Tom Enders aimed to end speculation that the proposed EADS-BAE Systems merger could still happen during a recent interview with the Sunday Times, Reuters reports.

Citing that interview, Reuters’ Paul Sandle writes the companies will not pursue the $45 billion deal that did not close last year.

Enders also told the Sunday Times that EADS is reviewing strategy for its defense business.

The companies announced in October that the merger has been called off.
