Contract Award – SRA International – $25 Million – USDA


The USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service has awarded a $25 million contract to SRA International. The single-award blanket purchasing agreement requires SRA International to develop an anti-fraud locator.

The contract has a ten year ceiling and will utilize the ALERT system, a fraud detection system that monitors and follows transactions related to the authorized meal program and food retailer locations. SRA will be responsible for developing and improving on the ALERT system, particularly increasing the functionality and utilizing the most current technologies available. Senior VP of SRA’s Health and Civil Services, Max Hall, is “confident our fraud detection expertise will help ensure that benefits are used for their intended purpose.”
