Telos Corp. to develop multi-touch, multi-user advanced computing app for Hawaii Air National Guard

On Wednesday, Telos Corporation announced that it will employ its SE7EN Application Development Framework to provide custom development of a multi-touch, multi-user, computing application for the Hawaii Air National Guard (HIANG).  The solution will enhance HIANG’s ability to access complex geomapping data and to share it with collaborating agencies. The Guard will use the platform to share the data with Pacific Rim allies and facilitate mission planning support.

The task order was awarded under the NETCENTS contract vehicle. Telos serves as a prime contractor on the five-year, $9 billion Air Force indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity NETCENTS contract, which enables the federal government to purchase hardware and software, network-centric voice, video and data products and services, and telephony solutions from preferred contractors.

“The Telos solution is an unclassified, secure application that will allow the Hawaii Air National Guard to leverage its Eagle Vision 5 data, which includes large, detailed geomapping data views, ” said Col. Joe Garnett, commander of the 201st Combat Communications Group, Hawaii Air National Guard.  “The collaborative nature of the multi-touch, multi-user platform will greatly enhance our ability to share information in support of the Guard’s mission.”

“The Telos SE7EN Application Development Framework allows rapid development of this secure application to assist the Guard as it optimizes its ability to collaborate and share data to enhance mission effectiveness, ” said Jeff Schneider, director of the Advanced Technologies Group for Telos Secure Networks.  “The SE7EN framework offers the flexibility and agility we need to respond to our customers’ custom development requirements for secure applications using the computing platforms of today and tomorrow.”
