Booz Allen Hamilton‘s (NYSE: BAH) parent company has finalized its acquisition of SDI Corp., a multidisciplinary engineering and prototyping company, for an undisclosed amount.
The McLean, Va.-based consultant and contractor did not provide further information about the deal in a release.
SDI develops products for radio frequency communication systems, electronic systems and mechanical designs, microelectronics manufacturing, and mechanical fabrication and assembly.
Customers include the government, industrial, scientific and consumer electronics sectors.
The company employs about 30 staff members and is based at Research Triangle Park, N.C.
This transaction occurred close to a month after Booz Allen announced the closure of its $154 million acquisition of ARINC’s defense systems engineering and support business, bringing in nearly 1, 000 employees.
