The city of Indianapolis and Marion County, Ind. have awarded Northrop Grumman an extension to an existing five year contract that was originally awarded in 2004. The ad-on calls for the global security provider to furnish IT services that will work to improve customer service, technology efficiencies, risk avoidance and cost effectiveness by managing the countyâs data center, help desk, networks, and distributed computing. The extension is worth $33.9 million.
