Raytheon, in conjunction with Iridium Satellite LLC, provider of global satellite voice and data communications solutions, has developed test equipment that is designed to simulate on-orbit antenna performance. The new technology is installed on a flight worthy Main Mission Antenna (MMA). A second successful addition to the MMA is antenna control software that will work to enhance operational flexibility and performance.
