Contractors will provide engineering and life cycle support services for electronic security systems, emergency management and law enforcement technology, enterprise systems and engineering network systems.
Base values of the multiple award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts include:

- L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) won $38, 980, 304
- M.C. Dean Inc. won $41, 313, 451
- SAIC Inc. (NYSE: SAI) won $39, 800, 740
Work will occur in Charleston, S.C. with an estimated date of completion of May 2013 and work can continue through May 2017 if all options are exercised, the Pentagon said.
The Charleston-based Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic is the contracting activity.
SAIC also holds a position on a potential $121.8 software engineering contract with the Navy along with General Dynamics (NYSE: GD).
The companies will compete to provide software development and design for the branch’s activities in command, control, communications, computers and intelligence.
