World Wide Technology has received a potential five-year, $500 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Postal Service to provide telecommunications hardware, software and services.

What Is the Scope of the USPS Contract?
According to an award notice posted Thursday, the agreement was awarded to WWT on a noncompetitive basis and is structured as an IDIQ contract with a guaranteed minimum value of $1 million and a maximum value of $500 million.
Under the contract, WWT will supply Cisco customer premise equipment, network devices and associated Cisco Smartnet maintenance to support USPS’ telecommunications infrastructure.
Performance under the contract is scheduled to run from Oct. 1, 2026, through Sept. 30, 2031.
How Does the USPS Deal Fit Into WWT’s Defense & Federal IT Portfolio?
The latest contract adds to WWT’s growing footprint across military and federal IT modernization efforts. The company’s USPS contract follows its recent selection to support U.S. Air Force cybersecurity operations under a potential $99 million contract tied to the 688th Cyberspace Wing.
It also builds on WWT’s U.S. Army Global Enterprise Modernization Software and Services 2.1 agreement, which consolidates several legacy Cisco enterprise agreements into a single support framework for Army IT infrastructure.
The company had earlier built momentum with a nearly $100 million Air Force IDIQ for IT transformation work with AF CyberWorx and a Defense Information Systems Agency other transaction agreement to develop the Fangorn cloud platform prototype, reflecting its continued expansion across both defense and civilian technology portfolios.
