Advanced IT Concepts has appointed Janet McKinnerney as chief financial officer, bringing more than 30 years of financial leadership experience in government contracting, aerospace, manufacturing and technology.
Who Is Janet McKinnerney?
McKinnerney most recently served as group controller at Coherent, Advanced IT Concepts said Monday. She previously worked as a financial consultant and held finance leadership roles at Alight Solutions, Cobham Mission Systems and Sypris Electronics. She spent nearly 12 years at Honeywell Aerospace as a finance manager, accounting services manager and lead senior financial analyst for financial planning and reporting.
What Will McKinnerney Oversee at Advanced IT Concepts?
McKinnerney will oversee the company’s core finance functions, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and cash management. Her responsibilities also cover internal controls and compliance with applicable regulations. She will coordinate with Advanced IT Concepts’ leadership team on financial operations and business decisions.
As CFO, McKinnerney will leverage her experience in financial planning and analysis, pricing, cost management, investment analysis and systems implementation, along with a background in government contracting requirements, internal controls and financial operations.
McKinnerney is the latest senior executive to join Advanced IT Concepts. The company named Martin Mackes chief delivery officer in 2025 to oversee service delivery and support long-term business growth, and appointed Kevin Thompkins senior vice president of corporate strategy earlier that year to develop and execute strategies to capture new business opportunities.
Advanced IT President and CEO Juan Navarro said McKinnerney’s experience in financial strategy, government compliance, operational finance and organizational transformation will strengthen the company’s infrastructure.
