MANTECH has appointed Eric Brown as chief product officer, tasking him with advancing the company’s pipeline of scalable, commercialized technologies aimed at anticipating national security challenges. The company announced the move Tuesday on LinkedIn.
Brown will oversee a portfolio that includes dual-use platforms and products, drawing on MANTECH’s existing offerings and the capabilities added through its acquisition of data science firm Elder Research. He most recently served as the company’s chief innovation officer.
What Is Eric Brown’s Background at MANTECH?
Brown rejoined MANTECH in 2022 as vice president of strategic cyber solutions and later led its innovation and capabilities organization, rising to senior vice president and chief innovation officer in 2023. He worked at the company earlier in his career, spending more than four years as an enterprise technical adviser and senior manager.
Between his MANTECH tenures, he held roles, including vice president of mission platform engineering at Microsoft, business director at Raytheon, and cyber leadership posts at Six3Systems and Data Tactics. His career includes helping government customers adopt cloud, cyber and other advanced mission technologies.

The appointment continues a run of leadership changes tied to MANTECH’s technology and capabilities organization. Brandy Durham was promoted to senior vice president and chief technology officer in early July, and Kristen Summers was elevated to chief data and AI officer days later. The company also named Sarah Carter chief growth officer in May and added retired Army Gen. Bryan Fenton to its board.
