Chugach Intelligence Solutions, a subsidiary of Chugach Government Solutions, has been awarded a potential $158 million Ames Facilities Support Services, or AFSS, II contract by NASA to deliver operations, maintenance and repair services for the Ames Research Center, or ARC.
What Does the NASA AFSS II Contract Cover?
NASA said Friday that the company will provide services to maintain and operate specialized facilities and infrastructure at the research center located in Silicon Valley, California. According to a solicitation notice published on SAM.gov in September 2025, the effort will include the 1,960-acre Moffett Field site that houses the 389-acre ARC campus, where offices, laboratories, computing facilities and research and mission support complexes are located. The site also features clean rooms, utility infrastructure, storage areas, shop spaces and paved surfaces.
The effort, which includes routine and emergent facility requirements, is intended to support the center’s research activities, NASA missions and tenant organizations based at NASA Research Park.
What Are the Contract Details?
The potential five-year contract includes a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods, with a possible six-month extension. Performance is expected to begin Aug. 13.
The contract combines cost-plus-award-fee core requirements, firm-fixed-price phase-in work and indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity task orders.

Chugach Government Solutions is a subsidiary of Chugach Alaska Corp. that provides facilities management, infrastructure maintenance, technical services and mission support to federal customers across the defense, civilian, intelligence and space sectors, including NASA.
