Mike Manzo has been elevated from defense and intelligence president to president and chief executive officer of ASRC Federal, the government contractor announced Friday.

Manzo takes the helm from Jennifer Felix, who is stepping away from the company after six years in the top post and seven years overall with ASRC Federal. Felix was a Wash100 awardee in 2021.

What Is Manzo’s Professional Background?

Manzo brings more than two decades of experience managing operations and technical teams in support of federal customers across the defense, intelligence and civilian sectors. Before joining ASRC Federal, Manzo spent time at General Dynamics Information Technology as vice president and general manager. His longest term was at General Dynamics Mission Systems, where he worked for more than 23 years. He started as chief engineer of geospatial systems, moved on to the role of senior manager of systems engineering, and later became director of motion imagery products and director of geospatial intelligence mission processing and exploitation.

What Is ASRC Federal?

ASRC Federal provides IT modernization, mission systems engineering, software and analytics, infrastructure operations, logistics and professional services to more than 30 federal agencies. Its mission areas span space, cyber and public health to military base operations. The company operates as a subsidiary of an Alaska Native corporation, with its work supporting more than 14,000 Iñupiaq shareholders from Alaska’s North Slope region.
