What Does the Contract Cover?
The sole-source award, issued by Space Systems Command, covers product integration work aimed at modernizing and unifying support execution across product support, life cycle logistics, digital transformation and readiness sustainment functions, the Department of War said Wednesday.
Work will primarily take place in Tysons, Virginia, through March 2031. No funds were obligated at the time of award.
How Does This Build on LMI’s Space SBIR Work?
The award builds on LMI’s prior SBIR efforts supporting space mission analysis and resilience.
In 2023, the U.S. Air Force awarded the company nearly $100 million in task orders under a Phase III SBIR contract to advance the Rapid Analysis Prototyping Toolkit for Resiliency. The platform supports modeling, simulation and analysis of space-based warfighting missions and enables decision-making through data visualization and scenario testing.
LMI further developed RAPTR in support of the Space Warfighting Analysis Center and the Space Security and Defense Program.
