Raytheon Co. (NYSE: RTN) won an estimated $48, 663, 690 U.S. Navy contract to develop radar software for the Navy and international governments, the Defense Department announced Thursday.
Raytheon will develop ALR-67(V) 3 software under the cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
The contract combines purchases from the Navy and international governments under a foreign military sales agreement.
Contract figures include:
- the Navy: $28, 891, 633
- Australia: $4, 550, 055
- Kuwait: $1, 975, 745
- Qatar: $1, 975, 746
- Malaysia $1, 975, 746
- Switzerland: $1, 382, 049
- Canada: $1, 386, 915
Purchases from other foreign sales customers total $6, 525, 801.
Raytheon will perform work under the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract in Point Mugu, Calif.
The Pentagon expects Raytheon to complete work by February 2017.
The Naval Air Systems Command‘s weapons division in China Lake, Calif. is the contracting activity.
