What Are the Details of Humana’s DHA Contract?
The Department of War said Wednesday Humana received $7.34 billion to exercise the second option period under the $136 billion contract awarded in 2022. The company will provide healthcare and administrative support, including managing an integrated healthcare delivery system, in the East Region, which spans Washington, D.C., and other states. The option year runs from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2026.
What Is Included in Evernorth’s TRICARE Contract?
As for Evernorth, the Missouri-based firm was awarded $719.4 million for the fourth option of its TRICARE Pharmacy Benefit Program contract, which it secured in 2021 through its Express Scripts business. The contract provides pharmacy benefit services nationwide and in Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands through retail network pharmacies, authorized non-network pharmacies and the TRICARE Mail Order Pharmacy. The option year also covers Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2026.
What Does Ipsos’ Award Cover?
Ipsos of Norwalk, Connecticut, received a $10.1 million modification to continue work for the TRICARE Patient Experience Survey for 12 months. The modification exercises an option for Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems surveys covering recently discharged adult and pediatric inpatients, the CAHPS Clinician and Group Survey and the CAHPS Outpatient and Ambulatory Surgery Survey for the Defense Health Agency. Work will be performed in Falls Church, Virginia, from Dec. 1, 2025, through Nov. 30, 2026.
