Who Is Matthew Thompson?
Thompson is a seasoned digital identity and government contracting professional with over four years of experience at Socure. Before his recent promotion, he served as chief revenue officer, senior vice president and general manager of the public sector, leading initiatives that help government agencies enhance program integrity through identity verification.
Before joining Socure, Thompson served as SVP of Civil Identity for North America at IDEMIA and as senior director of identity services at Capital One. He also served as VP of Strategic Solutions at Xcelerate Solutions and co-founded ID.me, where he was president.
Thompson worked as an associate at Goldman Sachs and McKinsey & Company after serving in the U.S. Army for 11 years. He has served on the boards of Kantara Initiative, U.S. Veterans Initiative and the Identity Ecosystem Steering Group, helping shape standards and frameworks for trusted online identity adoption in the public sector.
