NT Concepts has appointed Mark Cabrey as CEO to lead the company as it shifts its focus toward accelerating the delivery of artificial intelligence-driven engineering, analytics and modernization capabilities for defense and intelligence customers’ critical national security missions.
Who Is Mark Cabrey?
Cabrey, who joined NT Concepts in 2019, previously served as its chief operating officer and chief financial officer, according to a press release published Tuesday. He supported the company in its transition from a traditional federal contractor into a proactive technology provider, leveraging his expertise in financial management, operational efficiency and team leadership.
Before joining NT Concepts, Cabrey held senior leadership roles across several defense and technology firms, where he gained experience in finance, operations and organizational transformation.
He previously served as COO and CFO at Technica and spent nearly four years at Phacil, where he advanced from CFO to president.
The executive also held finance leadership roles at URS, serving as vice president of finance and controller for its $700 million IT services division. Earlier, he was vice president and corporate controller at Apptis, which later became part of URS. He began his senior management career at Unisys, where he served as the finance director for over seven years.
What Is NT Concepts’ Focus Under Cabrey’s Leadership?
In his new role, Cabrey will guide NT Concepts in sustaining its investments in adversarial technologies, predictive intelligence and digital modernization to support operations in contested and data-intensive environments.
Michele Bolos, NT Concepts’ founder and executive board chair, said Cabrey played a key role in shaping NT Concepts into a mission-driven technology partner. “His deep understanding of our customers’ challenges, genuine focus on people empowerment, and commitment to innovation and operational excellence make him the ideal person to guide NT Concepts into its next era of growth,” Bolos added.
How Will NT Concepts Advance Its AI Strategy?
Cabrey said the company aims to deploy mission-aligned AI technologies that not only inform decision-making but also defend against adversarial threats. “We are scaling solutions that enable our customers to act faster, smarter, and with unmatched precision and confidence at the point of need,” he continued.
NT Concepts will align its research and proprietary technology investments with operational deployment efforts. This will be executed through multi-service other transaction authorities, Small Business Innovation Research Phase III projects and production contracts to accelerate the delivery of advanced defensive and intelligence capabilities across joint domains.
