Mike Milner, Chris Haag Take Key Roles at American Rheinmetall

American Rheinmetall has named Mike Milner as CEO of its munitions business and Chris Haag as vice president for business development and strategy. The appointments aim to strengthen the company’s presence in North America, the defense firm said Thursday in a LinkedIn post.

Who Is Mike Milner?

Milner brings more than 35 years of defense industry experience. He previously served as director of business development and strategy for American Rheinmetall’s vehicles division for over five years.

Before joining the company, Milner served in the U.S. Army, holding roles including director of soldier and maneuver systems, armored multi-purpose vehicle project manager, and Excalibur project manager.

“Under his leadership, ARM will continue to deliver advanced munitions and energetics that ensure reliability, precision, and mission success,” American Rheinmetall wrote in its LinkedIn post.

Who Is Chris Haag?

Haag joined American Rheinmetall in 2022 as senior director of business development, overseeing capture efforts for combat, autonomy, robotics, unmanned vehicles, and other systems.

He previously worked at BAE Systems for nearly five years, most recently as program manager for precision guidance and sensing solutions. Haag also held leadership roles at CALIBRE, Merrill Technologies Group, EnPro Industries and IMMI.

Haag served in the Army earlier in his career. He held multiple roles, including as deputy regimental engineer, medical detachment commander and assistant squadron operations officer.

“Chris’s experience and strategic insight will strengthen partnerships, drive growth, and align our U.S. business with Rheinmetall’s global vision,” American Rheinmetall said.
