The Department of Defense said Wednesday the Bozeman, Montana-based company will install perimeter fencing and carry out additional contracted work in San Luis, Arizona. The project is scheduled for completion by Aug. 18, 2026.
The firm-fixed-price contract is initially valued at $174 million with a potential maximum payout of $230.9 million. Funds were obligated at the time of the award from fiscal year 2021 section 2803 emergency military construction funds of the Army, Air Force and Navy, along with Department of Defense-wide allocations.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in San Francisco, California, solicited proposals via the Internet and received four bids. The contract was awarded on Aug. 15.

In July 2020, BFBC received a one-year, $138 million contract modification to update the electrical systems supporting the southern border wall in Yuma, Arizona.
