Ammo Production Contract
Northrop Grumman is one of the two companies awarded the 120mm Tank Training Ammunition contract in 2022. At the time of the award, the company received $66.7 million to manufacture ammunition and related services for the Army.
The original contract has a five-year period of performance, ending in 2026 if all options are exercised.
The other contract awardee, General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, or General Dynamics OTS, received a deal in July from the Army to manufacture tank training ammunition. The total value of General Dynamics OTS’ contract for 120mm M865A1s is $464.6 million.
