Harish Luthra, CEO of SAP National Security Service, has accepted the 2025 Wash100 Award from Executive Mosaic Jim Garrettson.
The Wash100 Award, established by Garrettson in 2014, honors 100 of the most impactful government and government contracting leaders. This year marks the second consecutive year Luthra has been honored with the prestigious award. He was recognized for his significant work in delivering cloud-based initiatives to the federal sector.
“Harish’s expertise in foreign ownership, control or influence—a.k.a. FOCI—is a huge asset to SAP NS2, and it’s been a key part of their continued success. Under his leadership, SAP NS2’s Cloud ERP system earned the coveted DISA Impact Level 4 Provisional Authorization in 2024, proving it can meet the high-security standards required for federal contracts,” stated Garrettson.
“Harish knows the ins and outs of cybersecurity and compliance, and his focus on both innovation and security keeps SAP NS2 ahead of the curve. His deep understanding of FOCI and commitment to excellence are what make him a standout leader, driving SAP NS2’s growth in the federal space,” Garrettson continued.
Driving Cloud-Based Initiatives
In 2024, Luthra led SAP NS2 as it solidified its position as a key player in the cloud and cybersecurity space. His three decades of leadership experience have been instrumental in the company’s efforts to drive cloud adoption and migration across federal agencies, including forging a strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services to provide advanced cloud services to the federal sector. The partnership earned SAP NS2 the 2024 Amazon Web Services Federal Government Technology Partner of the Year. Under Luthra’s leadership, SAP NS2 obtained a FedRAMP+DOD Impact Level 4 Provisional Authorization from the Defense Information Systems Agency for its cloud-based enterprise resource planning platform, S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition.
Congratulations to Harish Luthra and the entire SAP National Security Service for this incredible achievement!
