The agency said Monday the Mission Technical Integration Contract covers program and business management, configuration and data management, IT services, systems engineering and integration, mission integration, safety and mission assurance, and operations.
The contract, structured as a cost-plus-award-fee and cost-plus-incentive fee agreement with core and indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity requirements, is scheduled to commence on Oct.1 and conclude on Sept. 30, 2027. It comes with four one-year option periods that, if exercised, will extend the work through 2031.
In May 2024, NASA issued a sources sought notice for the MTIC, particularly for the follow-on acquisition to the Human Space Flight Technical Integration contract. The contract will provide program support services for the Johnson Space Center, including products and services needed for mission and program technical integration activities.
