Air Force Engineering Support Contract

The Department of Defense said Wednesday Northrop’s aeronautics systems business will perform work in Oklahoma City through July 22, 2030, under the sole-source contract.

The Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma is the contracting activity.

What Does Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems Do?

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is one of Northrop’s four business segments. It is focused on providing military aircraft, autonomous systems, next-generation surveillance, aerospace structures, strike and commercial platforms for customers worldwide.

The business segment’s systems and technologies support various missions, including intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; missile defense; electronic warfare; strike operations; battle management and protected communications.
