James Toole Joins Mythics as Consulting Services Sales SVP

Managed services provider Mythics has appointed James Toole, a technology sales industry veteran, as senior vice president of consulting services sales.

In this capacity, Toole will lead the company’s consulting sales teams across federal, state and local government, higher education, healthcare and commercial business lines to drive overall growth.

“Adding Jim to the team strengthens our ability to drive sales performance, deepen customer relationships, and bring our full suite of solutions to more organizations. His leadership will be instrumental as we align our sales strategy with our expanded capabilities and aggressively pursue new opportunities for growth,” said Mukunda Mohan, executive VP of consulting at Mythics.

Expanding Public Sector Offerings Through 3 Strategic Acquisitions

Toole’s appointment follows a string of strategic acquisitions that Mythics closed in the past nine months.

In May, Mythics acquired SpearMC as part of a push to expand its market footprint, strengthen its presence in the public sector and broaden its Oracle Cloud and PeopleSoft expertise.

A month before the SpearMC transaction, the One Equity Partnersbacked company bought Smart ERP Solutions to expand its Oracle Cloud capability and service offerings for federal, state and local government agencies, educational institutions and commercial enterprises.

In September 2024, Mythics purchased Three Wire Systems’ technology resale business to broaden its portfolio of public sector offerings.

Who Is the New Consulting Services Sales Lead at Mythics?

Toole most recently served as group vice president at Oracle, where he managed the North America consulting sales organization.

Before Oracle, he held executive positions at Intel, HPE and EMC and co-founded two systems integration companies.

Earlier in his career, the Central Washington University financial administration graduate served as director of consulting at StorageTek and VP of sales and marketing at Applied Microsystems.
