Mythics has acquired Three Wire Systems’ technology resale business for an undisclosed sum and will integrate the purchased business segment into its wholly owned subsidiary Emergent, expanding the latter’s portfolio of open source, cloud and security technology offerings for public sector customers.
“Joining Emergent made sense. We are perfectly aligned with our audience, experience and expertise and the opportunities ahead of us to make a great impact in the Public Sector are expansive,” James Ebeler, managing director and chief technology officer, said in a statement published Tuesday.
Virginia-based Emergent is a value-added reseller that has been providing information technology platforms and services for government agencies, education and commercial clients since 2006.
Established in 2006, Three Wire’s technology resale business provides third-party product offerings to support government customers and their transformation efforts. The business segment’s tech partners include Dell, Broadcom, Ping and Zscaler (Nasdaq: ZS).
KippsDeSanto served as Three Wire’s adviser in the transaction.
Mythics and Emergent became part of One Equity Partners in December 2022 after receiving a strategic investment from the private equity firm.
