ASRC Federal has appointed David Yang, an experienced leader in federal IT, as vice president of business development for its civilian and health operating group.
Sanjay Sardar, civilian and health group president at ASRC Federal, said Thursday that Yang is an important addition to the leadership team and will drive the company’s federal civilian business forward.
“His industry knowledge, leadership, extensive network and proven track record speak volumes, and we are happy to have him on our team,” Sardar added.
Who is David Yang?
Yang joins ASRC Federal from ICF, where he most recently served as senior vice president for business development. In the role, he oversaw the implementation of strategic growth initiatives for ICF’s $525 million technology modernization portfolio. He also served as VP of digital transformation at the global consulting and technology services company.
Earlier in his career, he worked at the Library of Congress as a web designer and then as an expert conducting research on existing and emerging IT trends for digital content management.
The executive also held leadership roles at Digital Management Inc., Sapient, Appian, Keymind, ARS Interactive and the National Glass Association.
Yang has a bachelor’s degree in advertising design from the University of Maryland and a master’s degree in communications from the University of Baltimore.
