Christopher Buffoni Joins CGS as SVP, CFO

Chugach Government Solutions has hired Christopher Buffoni as senior vice president and chief financial officer.

The company said Thursday that he would oversee its financial activities, support the execution of its strategic growth plans and boost its financial performance.

Chris Buffoni’s Career Highlights

Buffoni has over 30 years of experience in the aerospace, defense and government contracting sectors.

Prior to joining CGS, he was the CFO at Cherokee Federal. With his support, the company doubled in size and recorded above-market growth and earnings.

At Leidos, Buffoni served as SVP of enterprise business operations. He also held key financial roles at Science Applications International Corp., including SVP of the integration management office, CFO and deputy group manager.
