The artificial intelligence company said in a LinkedIn post Monday Akers previously led transformative initiatives and increased revenue at Appian.
Akers most recently served as a sales leader at Appian, working at the software company for nearly six years. His career also includes time as chief revenue officer at Apcela, vice president at Adobe and VP of public sector at Acquia.
“His strategic approach to market development and his collaborative leadership style have established him as a trusted partner for clients and an inspiring mentor to his teams,” the Primer announcement reads.
