Lumen Technologies (NYSE: LUMN) has named Josh Finke as senior vice president of public sector, responsible for driving the business’ overall go-to-market strategy and profit and loss.
Finke brings to Lumen more than 25 years of technology leadership experience in artificial intelligence, cloud, communications, networking and security, the company said Monday.
He will lead a team consisting of Jason Schulman, national vice president of federal at Lumen, and Michelle Watson, national vice president of state, local and education business, along with Dan Klein, vice president of program management, and will focus on sales, business development, capture management and program management.
Commenting on his appointment, Finke said, “I’m incredibly excited to bring my expertise and leadership in technology innovation to Lumen’s successful Public Sector team… We’re committed to being excellent mission partners.”
Finke was previously chief solutions officer at Compucom, chief strategy officer at Zones and vice president of advanced and emerging technologies at Iron Bow Technologies.
“My background includes selling the first FedRAMP-certified unified communications platform to the federal government after years of partnership in design and implementation, and successfully selling and implementing mission transformation solutions to all levels of government customers,” he added.
Finke will report to Ashley Haynes-Gaspar, executive vice president and chief revenue officer at Lumen.
