Peter Carlson, formerly vice president of financial planning and analysis at DMI, has been appointed chief financial officer at the McLean, Virginia-based provider of end-to-end digital transformation services.
Carlson has over two decades of experience in strategic planning, professional services, mergers and acquisitions, business integration and system transformation, DMI said Thursday.
In his previous role, Carlson backed seven acquisitions, assisted multiple systems transformations and supported DMI’s 2021 investment from OceanSound Partners.
“Peter’s new role as chief financial officer is an important development and marks a significant milestone in DMI’s journey toward continued growth and success,” said Rocky Thurston, CEO of DMI.
Before joining DMI, Carlson held various roles of increasing responsibility at DXC Technology, formerly CSC, including director of finance for global and Americas consulting and finance director and senior principal of the emerging business groups and big data and analytics.
