Mark Thompson, formerly a senior vice president at Arcfield‘s global defense and security solutions, has been promoted to president and general manager of the company sector, according to a recently published LinkedIn post.
He will provide oversight of Arcfield’s four business units and 370 employees that offer cybersecurity, mission support and research, development and test services to defense and civilian customers.
Before joining the Chantilly, Virginia-headquartered company, Thompson was VP and general manager of the mission support business unit at Peraton and managed profit and loss functions for a portfolio of software and systems development and services support for the U.S. military and the Canadian air force.
He was VP of strategy and growth at Solerity, formerly Preferred Systems Solutions, and VP of defense and intelligence business segments at TrueTandem.
