The company announced Monday that it will also develop and manufacture components and other supporting elements of the C5ISR systems as a continuation of its existing collaboration with the Army.
Amentum will work with the branch’s prototyping, integration and testing division by providing technology and engineering support for its prototype modernization and integration projects. The contractor will also design, develop and build subsystems, installation kits and other C5ISR auxiliary resources.
“As a premier engineering partner for the U.S. Army, we can enable new technology capabilities to protect our national security,” said Jill Bruning, president of Amentum’s Engineering, Science and Technology Group and previous recipient of the Wash100 Award.
