The U.S. Navy has selected eight companies out of 31 proposers for an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple-award construction contract with a maximum amount of $1 billion, of which $23.6 million is to be obligated from fiscal year 2023 military construction funds.
The contractors will provide a variety of services, including facility repair, renovation, alteration and new construction, with an expected completion date of October 2025, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
Work will be carried out at various facilities within the area of operations of Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Northwest, which is also the contracting activity.
The awardees are:
Absher Construction
Contrack Watts
Glen/Mar-Hensel Phelps joint venture
Haskell
Macnak Construction
NH1 joint venture
Shape Construction
Tompco-Triton JV
The deal comes on the heels of a $950 million MACC recently awarded by NAVFAC Washington. Five companies were selected out of 19 competitors to provide general construction work. The expected completion date is September 2028.
