Melissa Houghton , formerly vice president at Ventech Solutions , has been promoted to senior vice president of growth and business development at the Columbus, Ohio-headquartered information technology services provider, G2xchange FedCiv reported Saturday.
The nearly 30-year federal IT services industry veteran will establish and mature Ventech’s infrastructure and expand its brand across the government sector.
Houghton joined Ventech in October 2022 following a four-year stint at professional services provider Redhorse , where she served as VP of corporate growth according to her LinkedIn profile .
Before that, she led business growth initiatives and developed recompete strategies for federal contracts at CGI .
Houghton managed business integration and capture planning at SRA International earlier in her career.
