Leidos, Microsoft Partner to Advance Cloud, AI Tech Development; Steve Hull Quoted

Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) and Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) will accelerate the development and delivery of artificial intelligence and cloud computing platforms to support public sector customers’ missions under a strategic collaboration agreement.

The two companies will co-develop generative AI tools to help customers support cross-domain applications and improve productivity and organizational efficiency, Leidos said Monday.

“This agreement will help enable co-innovation utilizing the latest cloud and AI technologies,” said Steve Hull, executive vice president of enterprise and cyber solutions operation at Leidos.

Leidos migrated 20 critical applications from a data center to Microsoft’s Azure Government cloud as part of its work on the service management, integration and transport portion of the Department of the Navy’s Next Generation Enterprise Network Recompete contract.
