Software as a service company Exiger has acquired supply chain risk management platform vendor Ion Channel.
Exiger said Tuesday that it will add the acquired company’s technology offering to a Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program-certified SaaS platform that contains information on 16.8 million unique supply chains.
Before the acquisition, Exiger’s SaaS supported logistics work associated with raw materials, physical products, manufacturing processes and corporate relationships.
Under Exiger’s ownership, Ion Channel will be part of a $75 million contract award from the General Services Administration, which will involve assisting government agencies in supply chain and third-party risk management.
