A joint venture between KBR (NYSE: KBR) and Intuitive Machines has booked a five-year, $719 million contract to engineer systems for NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland.
Houston-based STS is scheduled to commence work on July 1 and will support multiple NASA programs, including the primary support vehicle for the Joint Polar Satellite System project.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a minimum ordering value of $8 million, with the performance period running through June 30, 2028.
OMES III is a follow-on to the contract formerly held by Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC).
