He will oversee the company’s innovation and strategic growth efforts and help improve customer and partner experience, ITC Federal said Friday.
ITC Federal CEO Greg Fitzgerald said Bashir brings to the executive team his experience developing enterprise delivery capabilities and advancing emerging technologies and will be key as the company matures its offerings and platforms aimed at addressing mission requirements.
Bashir previously served as vice president of emerging technologies and CTO of cloud computing at ASGN’s (NYSE: ASGN) ECS subsidiary and as managing director of emerging technology at Apex, which is also part of ASGN.
He has helped form centers of excellence focused on artificial intelligence, cloud and cyber and supported clients across defense, federal civilian, state and local government, education, health care and commercial sectors.
In 2021, Bashir was named by the Potomac Officers Club as one of the five executives advancing emerging technologies in the GovCon sector.
Fairfax, Virginia-based ITC Federal, formerly Information Technology Coalition, supports government clients by providing DevSecOps and application development support, cloud, cybersecurity, federal financial systems and adjudication services.
