Ten companies have won spots on a potential eight-year, $1 billion contract vehicle to carry out construction projects for the U.S. Navy at various government installations across six states.
Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command received 24 bids for the firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Monday.
Contractors will compete to build, renovate and repair facilities in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah.

CJW Construction
Flatiron West
Heffler Contracting Group
Reyes Construction
RQ-Orion JV
R.C. Construction
Each vendor will receive a minimum contract guarantee of $5,000. The Navy will determine additional funds with each contract order.
