Former Accenture Exec Scott Sloan Joins StratasCorp as President

Scott Sloan, former managing director of armed forces growth and strategy at Accenture’s (NYSE: ACN) federal services unit, has joined Virginia-based information technology services provider StratasCorp Technologies as president.

StratasCorp said he brings more than two decades of government and business experience to the company.

Sloan started his career in government service, joining the U.S. Navy as an engineering and tactical watch officer of the USS Hampton. He took the role of program manager at Northrop Grumman’s (NYSE: NOC) undersea systems business, before transferring to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. At NRC, he became chief of the operator licensing and training branch.

He also worked at CSRA, now part of General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) information technology group, as director of the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Coast Guard growth team. Under GDIT, he was appointed vice president of Naval and training solutions growth.
