John MacMillan, a 36-year public and private sector information technology veteran, has joined Maximus (NYSE: MMS) as vice president of future market development.
He will guide the future strategy for the company’s U.S. services business and work with customers to prepare them for next-generation innovations in the sector, Maximus said Thursday.
Prior to his appointment, MacMillan was Pennsylvania’s chief information officer and led the delivery of enterprise IT shared services to agencies statewide.
He previously held a nearly two-decade career at IBM (NYSE: IBM), where his responsibilities involved work with government and health care clients.
Earlier in his career, he was a senior project manager for the Solicitor General of Canada and an application developer at Canada’s department of national defense.
