SOCOM will accept white papers until March 3 and may issue OTAs to multiple proposers after a competitive demonstration and assessment process, according to a solicitation notice posted Thursday on SAM.gov.
The project will involve the development, testing and demo of a digital prototype project for the Undersea Systems Program. The agreement will be divided into three phases, from white paper submission to evaluation, until contract awarding for test and evaluation.
SOCOM’s procurement directorate opened the solicitation on behalf of its maritime program executive office and the command estimates all three phases of the project will take 23 months to complete.
