Chris Montferret, a more than two-decade veteran at General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) mission systems business, was elevated to the role of vice president of strategy and business development for the maritime and strategic systems unit.
In a LinkedIn post, he announced his executive move within General Dynamics Mission Systems and welcomed the opportunity to continue supporting the delivery of mission support capabilities to U.S. warfighters.
Montferret, in his previous role as director, was responsible for driving strategy and business development for the undersea and strategic systems business areas within GDMS. He also worked on programs focused on command and control, Air Force systems, open combat technologies as well as Navy surface platforms during his over 24 years of stay with the defense contractor.
Earlier in his career, Montferret served as a quality assurance program manager at Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT).
