ICF (Nasdaq: ICFI) has purchased Blanton & Associates, an environmental consulting services provider headquartered in Texas, for an undisclosed amount.
Fairfax, Virginia-based ICF said Thursday it expects the acquisition to grow the company’s presence in a key market that stands to benefit from the new Bipartisan Infrastructure Law Spending Initiative.
For 25 years, Blanton & Associates has been providing environmental planning, consulting, project management, regulatory compliance and permitting services to local, state and federal agencies.
The acquired company, which also serves the commercial sector, is known primarily for its work in transportation, water and resource management, renewable energy, and environmental conservation.
“As one team, ICF and Blanton & Associates will offer industry-leading expertise in the transportation, energy and water sectors coupled with a deep understanding of environmental regulations to help state and local agencies quickly execute infrastructure projects, while protecting the environment and maintaining compliance,” said John Wasson, chair and CEO of ICF and a two-time Wash100 Award winner.
