Carmen Krueger, who served as the first general manager of cloud business at SAP’s National Security Services subsidiary, has been appointed to serve as senior vice president and managing director for the regulated industries sector of SAP North America.
Her appointment is effective Monday and she will also support the software provider’s public sector growth initiatives in her new capacity, SAP said Friday.
The 17-year company veteran has served as chief operating officer of the marketing and solutions unit since June 2021 and previously ran the North America Center of Excellence.
Krueger also managed sales to the federal sector in VP role, led cloud operations within SAP NS2 for four years and led the North American enterprise sales for the Qualtrics customer experience platform.
She started her industry career at Siebel Systems after service in the U.S. Navy JAG Corps.
