Jamie McMullin, formerly vice president of business development and strategy at Fairbanks Morse Defense, has transitioned to a new role as president of the company’s services unit.
He will be responsible for integrating service offerings from FMD’s newly acquired businesses into its portfolio and implementing new technology to support asset management and monitoring processes, the company said Tuesday.
McMullin, who joined FMD in 2021, oversaw the acquisition of seven companies in the past two years, led the launching of new service and training centers and supported the rollout of the FM Onboard virtual reality tools and services.
Prior to joining FMD, he served as the senior director of naval power systems at Leonard DRS and VP of naval campaigns and business development at Rolls-Royce.
His promotion comes as the Arcline Investment Management portfolio company seeks to expand its presence in the defense technology market through a series of acquisitions. It most recently added Maxim Watermakers to its portfolio of marine technology offerings.
