LMI will offer test and evaluation tools to the Department of Defense’s artificial intelligence organization under a five-year, $249 million blanket purchase agreement.
The nonprofit consulting firm said Wednesday it was awarded a position on the Joint Artificial Intelligence Center T&E BPA, a contracting vehicle that supports responsible and ethical AI system development efforts throughout the department.
“This opportunity to expand LMI’s work in the AI space with the JAIC allows us to continue supporting our customers in meeting their critical missions and will be a critical enabler of the DoD’s broader JADC2 [Joint All-Domain Command and Control] aspirations,” said Pete Pflugrath, senior vice president of markets and growth at LMI.
The company has supported JAIC since 2019 and secured a $1.5 million contract in December 2021 to help the center transition maintenance data into the Pentagon’s Advana analytics platform.
