Paul Becker, a retired U.S. Navy rear admiral and former director of intelligence on the Joint Chiefs of Staff, has joined the board of advisers of data analytics company Babel Street.
He will work with seven other advisers to provide guidance to the executive management team and strategies to create value for customers in key market areas, the company said Thursday.
Becker is the president and CEO of The Becker T3 Group, a consulting firm he also created to function as a public speaking platform on national security matters.
His military career included assignments as commanding officer of a Joint Intelligence Operations Center and director for intelligence at U.S. Pacific Command, International Security Assistance Force Afghanistan and the Carrier Strike Group Seven.
Washington, D.C.-based Babel Street designed its platform with artificial intelligence to help customers extract insights from public or private information sources.
