Jimmy Benani was promoted to the role of vice president of federal health and civilian markets at Excella, where he previously served as director, FedHealthIT reported Wednesday.
He has been with the Arlington, Virginia-based Agile technology company for more than 11 years now and he most recently led its efforts in supporting customers focused on federal health care and civilian government efforts.
According to Benani’s LinkedIn profile, over half of his tenure at Excella was spent in consultancy work of increasing responsibilities.
Excella is currently tasked to provide the Department of Health and Human Services’ inspector general with data analytics in support of its efforts to combat fraud, waste and abuse risks to agency programs. The company was awarded a five-year, $27 million task order for its work.
