Ascent will bring its expertise in designing mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems to boost the capabilities of Godspeed Capital’s Prime ABA to compete for contracts with government and commercial clients, the private equity company said Monday.
Roanoke, Virginia-based Ascent has more than six decades of experience in providing studies, energy analysis, specifications and administration services in support of new construction and renovation projects.
Ascent’s existing management team will continue to lead the company as a standalone entity within Prime ABA.
Benjamin Linkous, president and CEO of Ascent, said the company’s integration with Prime ABA is intended to expand its market presence, enhance project capabilities and advance client relationships.
PSMJ Resources and AEC Advisors respectively advised Ascent and Godspeed Capital on the acquisition.
